If you have a climber in your life, you don’t need to struggle to find them something they will truly love.
Beginner climbers
New climbers benefit most from the basics: climbing shoes, a comfortable harness, a chalk bag, and chalk. They may also want you to sign them up for Climbing 101 or Youth Holiday Clinics.
Improve climbers
For those who take their training seriously, you can’t go wrong with a hangboard or rock rings, as well as a forearm trainer to increase strength and endurance. A finger or forearm massager also helps relax sore muscles after a tough session. Duct tape can also help protect your hands.
Outdoor climbers
To start climbing outdoors, you need your personal equipment: a helmet, a belayer, carabiners and straps or a PAS. At least one person in the group also needs a rope, quickdraws and a climbing guide.
Those who boulder outdoors can use a bouldering mat for protection.
If you know a short climber (or a particularly tall climber), the Edelrid Ohm can make climbing much safer and more comfortable.
If you have a professional climber to shop for, you can buy them a new piece of gear for every birthday and Christmas for the rest of their life! Cams, nuts, hexagons, double ropes, new draws and carabiners. You name it, they want it!
Too hard?
Our staff will be happy to help you choose something for your climbing friends or family. If choosing what to buy is still a little difficult, you can always purchase a Pulse Climbing gift card.
Happy Christmas shopping!
