Will Bosi is currently screening Spots of Time V17 by Aidan Roberts. Formerly known as the Helvellyn Project, this curly, fingered block is located in the Lake District of the United Kingdom. Bosi recently posted a video of his fifth session on the problem, which you can watch below. During the session, he was able to unlock all the moves and make some impressive connections, using a different beta than Roberts.
“Breakthrough session, first finally sticking the last move, then doing the big move skipping the middle one in the middle,” Bosi said of her session on Instagram. “I feel like everything is coming together now!”
Bosi has three V17 repeats under his belt. In October 2022, he climbed his first of the ladder, thus making the third ascent of Shawn Raboutou’s Alphane. Less than six months later, he notched his second V17 with his second ascent of Nalle Hukkataival’s Burden of Dreams. In February of this year, he made the second ascent of Daniel Woods’ Return of the Sleepwalker in Red Rock, Nevada.
