As human beings, it’s our default setting to imagine the worst. Historically, being alert to danger is what allowed us to avoid being eaten by lions and keep us out of harm’s way.
However, in today’s world, we are of course not at risk (unless we are traveling the African savannahs!) of being eaten by lions, but our brain can still be triggered by events unfavorable for us make people feel the same threat as a lion. is there. This sends many people into states of hyperanxiety and panic. The good news however is that we can learn to consciously choose a more appropriate response to different threats (no lion is chasing me).
With the UK now in its third lockdown, many people are living in states of heightened anxiety and panic, focusing on the worst that could happen. While it is important to acknowledge the difficulties of this time and allow difficult emotions to be expressed, it is also crucial to focus on all the good. We have two vaccines. This will all end. We spend more time with those who live in our bubble. We can focus more on ourselves. We can grow. We can transform ourselves.
All of this and more is possible if we choose to recognize that there is potential and that the darkest moments often lead to the most enlightening and enriching transformations. With that in mind, I’d like to invite you to join in the fun! This exercise I’m about to share is about letting your imagination run wild in the realm of all positive possibilities. This will allow you to break down negative beliefs and barriers and begin exploring what you truly want and what is truly possible in this time and beyond.
About scripts
Scripting is a tool used within the Law of Attraction (LoA), following the belief that “what you think about and thank, you achieve”. The law of attraction (also known as the law of the mirror) responds to your thoughts, with the words you speak and the emotions you feel, establishing you as the creator of your own reality. Writing a script is about letting your imagination run wild to envision the best possible future, then communicating it through words in the PRESENT, like a story. For example, I might start with “it is February 15, 2021” before describing where I want to be at that moment in the present tense with phrases like “I am”, “I have”, or “it is”. The key is to put yourself in the shoes of your future self and write from the perspective of that version of you!
Scripts can help replace redundant habits and psychological paradigms with progressive, intentional habits and thoughts – which reprogram the subconscious mind and therefore change your reality. Words have immense power, the two most powerful words being “I am,” because what you put after them shapes who you will become. Dr. Joe Dispenza’s research on mind-heart coherence is a fascinating scientific insight into scripture and the law of attraction and why it actually works. Neuroscience is the basis of how spirituality manifests in physical realism and in the world as we perceive it using our five senses.
Scripting regularly, such as once a month, creates the opportunity to recalibrate and set specific goals and intentions. Rereading your script morning and evening, believing in intentions and meditating on them strengthens neural pathways and helps create change quickly. The gap between thought and physical matter is vision with emotion. Emotion is energy in motion, so where focus goes, energy flows. Everything we believe exists; from modern technology to art, was at one time a thought. Someone first thought it, then followed that thought with action that led to its creation in the physical world. There is a very logical sequence of events that arises from pure thought and so, in my opinion, there is nothing as powerful as simple human thought.
Emotion is the physical signature of thought, you may not be aware of your thoughts at all times but you will always know what you are feeling. Writing in the present tense and physically feeling the joy, peace, or other pleasant emotions you want to create will help you focus on a positive mindset and a domino effect will soon ensue. Neuroscience has demonstrated that for every thought we focus on for a few seconds, another similar thought arises, which is why we can convince ourselves to adopt or reject anything. We can use this predictable behavior of the brain to reverse the harmful effects of unwanted feelings such as anxiety, fear, and negativity.
Final points on scripting:
1. Write in the present tense.
2. Never be afraid to be too detailed in your script. The more descriptive you are, the better you will be able to connect and visualize everything you are trying to manifest. For example, if you are trying to manifest your dream home, you would want to explore all the little details that make your dream home unique.
3. Express how it feels to have it! The level of detail in your script should extend to talking about your emotions and feelings – describing your feelings is absolutely necessary. key.key to write a powerful script. Expressing how it feels to sense your manifestation allows you to truly step into your future reality and embody this version of you energetically.
4. Express Gratitude Gratitude is one of the highest vibrational feelings you can embody, so including it in your script will raise the vibration and bring you closer to your heart’s desires.
5. Don’t let fear or doubt ruin your dreams. Write from your heart and soul. Don’t put limits on what you can achieve.
