I had the opportunity to catch up with my good friend and long-time colleague, Mike Robertson, during his Podcast on physical preparation earlier this week.

He and I go back to the early 2000s. You know, when smartphones didn’t exist, Rolley’s cold dives and alpha male behavior were (less) a thing, and the show Alias was my life (because of an insatiable crush on Jennifer Garner).
I think this was my third time on his podcast, which means I’m approaching Ryan Gosling’s 5-Timer Club into Saturday Night Live territory. We approached this as a conversation between two guys catching up rather than doing something more traditional like getting into the weeds on deadlift mechanics or why better upward scapular rotation helps with everything , from shoulder pain to curing gluten intolerance.
