Almost every year, one or more of my friends and I team up and take on a difficult hike, usually somewhere in the Sierras. This year we had talked about it for a while and finally came to the conclusion that we were going to try the Rae Lakes loop. We spent time researching the hike, getting the supplies we would need, and organizing our schedules for a week in the Sierras. The hike did not disappoint. It was a long and grueling hike at times, but the scenery was world class and I would love to go back one of these days just to take some time on the photography trail,… one of these days.
