We all had a great time and would like to thank Sarah for taking the time to run the workshop for us. We got a lot out of it.
We started with Pranayama and Sarah demonstrated several different ways to move into the different standing postures.
After working on the standing postures, we then learned to work with breathing and bandas, which allowed us to start working on the seated postures – those of Vinyasa.
Sarah then explained and demonstrated in detail how to perform these Vinyasa working with breathing and bandas. She showed us many variations of vinyasa, as we were all at different levels, strengths and abilities, and she wanted us to find the right variation that would work for us.
After that we were shown and started to explore some of the intermediate level postures. We were so involved in these postures by the end of the workshop that it was 4 p.m. before we knew it! The Shivasana was very quick, and that is certainly the mark of a very popular workshop!
We hope Sarah will return to share a workshop with us soon.
During this particular workshop we were lucky enough to have Alexandra Donald with us to take some fantastic photos. His photographs are always up to date and we are always delighted with his photos of our classes and workshops!
