On Saturday 18th March 2023 I’m teaching my first workshop at a lovely new venue in Hove on Western Road.
The theme of the workshop is ”yoga to prevent injuries”.
You may know six restaurants and the WolfFox cafe next door. Well if you enter the restaurant and go up the stairs to the first floor you will find a lovely little yoga studio “Upstairs@six”.
it’s a Fully equipped venue so you don’t need to bring anything with you unless you want to.
There are currently four places left for the workshop which starts at 4:15 p.m. and lasts two hours.
I decided to focus on yoga to prevent injuries as it will be particularly good for the many runners, joggers and cyclists around Brighton!
I anticipate this workshop to be suitable for beginners as well, with many interesting ways to release tension from tight muscles. So if you want an introduction to Iyengar yoga, this would be perfect for you too.
I plan to teach yoga in Brighton and Hove more regularly in the future, including private one-on-one yoga classes.
If you have any health or medical issues that concern you, you can email me in advance at [email protected] to find out if this workshop is right for you.
I have been teaching Iyengar Yoga since 1998 and am a level three teacher. I have a down-to-earth, light-hearted teaching style that I believe helps my students learn yoga rather than just “doing it.”
If you would like to book one of the final four spaces you can do so on the yoga classes page of my website using the PayPal button (£25) or you can contact me for direct bank payment details if you prefer.
You can pay and view the park, but the roads in central Hove are very busy (as you may know), but the venue is a 20 minute walk (approximately), from Hove train station or the Brighton station.
However, if you are driving you can also consider parking for free on New Church Road between 12pm and 7pm. This will give you time, when the workshop ends at 6:15 p.m., to pack your bags and leisurely walk back or hop on a bus for the one-mile journey.
